It is marked "Made in Germany" so presumably for the UK market, it has a fixed, forward-facing sparking cannon mounted to the chassis instead of a fully rotating turret, and it features stamped tinplate wheels with integral, simulated lithographed tyres. The paintwork is a three colour design of green and reddish brown over a dark yellow- particularly remarkable to those with an interest in the real military vehicles used by the German army in WW2 that from around 1943 used a similar 3 colour camoflage. The inverted triangle with a letter "A" on the rear is the hallmark logo of Arnold (Karl Arnold Epinal), a premier pre-war German tinplate manufacturer based in Nuremberg. The number 579 is the exact catalogue model number for the Arnold Panzerwagen (Armoured Car) issued circa 1935.

It is a bit grubby but I'm not conffident about cleaning it. I am not sure if the clockwork works or not without a key and the sparking mechanism depends on the clockwork to function

A perfect item for a collector who is just starting  or possibly as a donor vehicle for a restorer
