for your consideration is a Seth Thomas ships will clock, I'm not sure if it has been upgraded with a quartz movement or not. I'm kind of surprised by this it's heavy but it accepts a battery. the minute hand has a little wiggle room, it doesn't affect its performance. I can't find a clock exactly like this, I don't know what model it is, the sticker on the back is missing but the brass back plate is there, I'm a little stumped. I've owned quite a few of the Seth Thomas ships clocks. I'm not sure if this one was mounted on a wood base or not. but it's an awesome Seth Thomas heavy clock with the Beautiful screw off bezel. clock will be shipped in as found condition. I won't polish it or clean it unless instructed.
