Antique cobalt blue glass eye wash cup, dating to the late 19th / early 20th century (circa 1890–1910).
This classic medical form features a waisted body with a flared oval rim, designed to fit comfortably against the eye.
The rich cobalt blue glass is typical of Victorian and Edwardian medical and apothecary wares
The base is moulded with the word “Foreign”, a mark commonly found on glass imported into Britain during this period
It measures about 5,3cm x 4.1cm x 3.1cm.
