Japanese Meiji Period (1868–1912) museum-quality flask-shaped Satsuma vase featuring exceptionally fine hand-painted decoration and outstanding craftsmanship. The vase is beautifully decorated with a temple scene, flags, clouds, elaborate floral motifs, symbolic designs, and rich gilt decoration throughout.

One side depicts an elegant interior scene with aristocrats surrounded by finely detailed architectural elements and ornate decorations. The extensive gold decorations and intricate artwork are characteristic of the finest Meiji Satsuma pieces.

The vase is signed by the artist on the base; the signature shows slight wear. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description.
