Authentic limited-edition patinated bronze sculpture of a standing African gazelle by noted wildlife sculptor Terry Owen Mathews (1931-2008), the British-born, Kenya-based artist behind the monumental "Tuska" bronze elephant at the University of Alabama.

Mathews was a professional safari hunter turned sculptor whose work was exhibited internationally across Europe, Africa, and the United States and collected widely within the big-game and wildlife-art community. A genuine signed and numbered example from a small edition.

Signed, dated, and numbered in the cast base plate: "T.O. Mathews / 1974 © 4/10." Edition of only 10.
