Vintage Felipe Derflingher “Imprisoned Glass” Tumbler


Vintage hand-blown amber art glass tumbler attributed to Felipe Derflingher for Feders, Mexico. This classic Mid-Century Modern Brutalist design features thick hand-blown amber glass encased in a hand-forged oxidized iron sleeve with geometric cutouts and protruding glass bubbles.


Derflingher’s “imprisoned glass” designs have become highly collectible for their combination of Mexican hand-blown glass and sculptural metalwork.
