Antique German 22” Hertwig (?) China Head Doll Rosy Cheeks Blue Eyes on chair.

The doll appears to have been manufactured by the Hertwig Company circa 1860.  There is diminished paint fading/rubbing on certain parts of the hair primarily the back.  The doll appears to have been reinforced in her early years.  I checked the ceramic shoulders without removing the reinforcing and it does not appear to have any damage.  Her body is cloth and her forearms and hands are leather.  They are peeling due to age.

The pantaloons appear to be original.  There is a cut in the front of the bodice on the dress which was reinforced with a piece of tape on the inside.  The dress is vintage but clearly not original.  Unknown age of socks and shoes.

The most unique feature is the bracelet which appears to have been affixed to the leather wrist.
