Incredibly rare vintage 1964/1965 Arkansas Razorbacks commemorative 45 RPM vinyl record complete with its original factory-issued cardboard picture sleeve. Released under the pseudonym "The Hog Callers," this custom promotional track was secretly recorded by Country/R&B legend Charlie Rich and written by his wife, Margaret Ann. It features the primary track "Callin' the Razorbacks" backed with the instrumental B-side "Razorback Romp."
Commissioned by local RCA Victor electronics dealers to celebrate the Razorbacks' historic 1964 National Football Championship run.
The highly collectible original picture sleeve features the classic vintage Arkansas Razorback mascot and striking red-and-black mid-century graphics. The vinyl looks very clean with a high gloss finish, crisp matrix stamps (SK4M-0991), and beautiful labels.
