A Very Good Copy of this book in original brown cloth with gilt title lettering to spine with gilt lined borders and with gilt motif to the front cover with borders stamped in blind to the front and rear boards.There is one former owner's inscription to the front pastedown.The book has a firm binding with NO hinge weakness.Slight bruising to the corners and a couple of small indents along fore-edge of the book.A quite scarce title which is a wonderful account of hunting and fishing in many continents.It contains much on Canadian fishing among the Thousand Islands, including very early fly fishing for bass in the St. Lawrence.Also trout fishing in Ireland and with big game hunting in Africa.The St. Hubert's Club was established in Canada in 1848,8vo 336pp First Edition [1864]
