For consideration is a handmade, unisex, cotton & linen, Iron Age, Medieval, Viking/Norse, Celt traditional Skjoldehamn hood. Fabric is medium weight, brown linen cotton blend & light-weight golden yellow cotton (nice homespun style weave). The brown & yellow side is embroidered with knots (in dark green) & Odin's ravens design (in black) in front & matching knot in back. The all-yellow reverse side is plain on the center panels. Both sides are completely edged outside all seams with various stitching designs, sewn by hand in black cotton floss. These stitches are not only decorative to give a historic look but also hold the inner seam fabric in place so it will be much easier to iron. Hand wash to protect the hand embroidery. It's about a small/medium in size with a generous hood & neck opening. In one pic I show the fit on a 43" shoulder to help compare the sizing. If you have large shoulders, these hoods usually set across but not hang over the shoulders. A lot depends on how much side fabric you tuck up into the hood area.
