The signature on the front appears to read "Leopold", followed by the date 1922. Based on the image alone, we can't confidently state that the signature is authentic or that the person is King Leopold III. 

Some critical notes:

• The inscription does look like "Leopold" with "1922" beneath it.
• The young man on the left is wearing what appears to be a formal military uniform with a cross-belt and neck decoration, appropriate for a European royal or aristocratic officer.
• The young man on the right wears formal court dress with a prominent star breast badge, suggesting this was taken in a royal or diplomatic setting.
• The handwritten inscription on the reverse mentioning an A.D.C. (Aide-de-Camp) also supports an official or royal association.
