Here I am offering for sale (reluctantly) my 1989 VW Golf Clipper Cabriolet. It’s a 1.8 carb and I’ve spent loads on it to get it to where it is now, it’s not perfect yet, but a good way towards it. Recently had a new engine fitted, from a 91 Scirroco with 85,000 miles on it as the original kept losing oil pressure, like wise also fitted a gearbox as the original had play in the diff bearings and was leaking oil. Work done in the last few months includes: 

New shocks and springs all round,

New front tyres, track rods and track rod ends, replacement fuel tank fitted just last week (due to mot advisory) 

New front ball joint,

New front disks and pads,

Brake fluid flush,

New thermostat, dizzy cap, ht leads, rotor arm, fuel separator. I fitted a cup holder in place of the ashtray, but have the ashtray if you wanted to return it to standard.
