ULTRA Rare '1978' castings: date code - '8C8' = 8th March 1978.
****Probably 2 of the last batch Ford ever made...?
- Machined for Screw in rocker studs
- machined for spring seats / double valve springs etc.
- valve guide boss has been machined for .530" seals
- STD size valve seats suit - 2.19" / 1.71"
These heads are absolutely brand new and have never been bolted to an engine.
You can see that these heads have been kept in the Genuine FORD boxes for decades.
I have many NOS valve train parts to make these complete and pretty much ALL ford componentry, including Phase 3 rockers and sled fulcrums, pushrod guide plates, etc. Just cntact me to discuss what you need.
If you would like Genuine Ford 4V heads on your engine build then these are the heads for you.
If you would like the heads to be prepared in any way to any level ( additional cost ), then i can arrange and assemble the heads, with extra machining, Any valves, OE guide plates, studs, OE retainers, springs to suit any cam, OE spring seats etc. Just ask.
