Original Piece of Walt Disney Birthplace Roof Cedar Shake in Acrylic Block RARE!
This collectible was created by the Walt Disney Birthplace Restoration team in 2013.
It was available to high-tier donors of the restoration project and originally sold to them for $500 each.
This 4" x 3" x 1" acrylic block contains an original cedar shake wood chip from the roof material crafted by Elias Disney (Walt's father) when he built the house in 1893.
These pieces are considered some of the oldest physical artifacts of Disney history available to the public, as they come directly from the structure where Walt Disney was born in built in 1893.
