I believe my father purchased this necklace of vintage antique opaque red African trade beads many decades ago, from an antique trader specialized in African items. It has been in our home ever since. My mother no longer wants it. Looking online, seems like maybe they are either bohemian or Venetian trade beads. Possibly from Ghana, or possibly from the Maasai in Kenya.
