The advert is headed:

“VULCAN – 12 h.p. Models”

and proudly describes the range as:

“Ideal Owner-Driver Cars and Best British Value.”

Illustrated in classic 1920s Art Deco-inspired style, the advertisement features a detailed image of the 12 h.p. All-Weather Car, framed by decorative borders and Vulcan’s distinctive blacksmith mascot. It lists the complete model range available at the time, including:

* 4-Seater Touring Car – £395
* All-Weather Car – £545
* Interior Drive Saloon – £575

The advert also promotes demonstration drives and provides the Southport headquarters address for the company.

Original advertisements for Vulcan Motor Cars are considerably scarcer than those for Austin, Morris or Ford, reflecting the marque’s shorter production life. This makes them particularly desirable to collectors of early British motoring history.
