About the Comic & Condition Notes
Cerebus Bi-Weekly #6
(published on February 10, 1989, by Aardvark-Vanaheim) reprints the complete
contents of the original, monumental Cerebus the Aardvark #6
(September/October 1978).
This issue is written, illustrated, and lettered entirely
by Dave Sim, with unique plotting assistance provided by Michael
Loubert. It stands as one of the most critical landmarks of the entire
300-issue run, introducing the series' core romantic relationship and
permanently shifting Cerebus’s emotional trajectory.

Issue Summary: "The Secret"
Following his exploits in the northern mountains, Cerebus
is drinking in the city of Iest when a street thug named Turg picks a fight
with him. Turg and his partner, E'Lass, are desperate to learn a highly
valuable treasure secret that a dying old man had whispered exclusively to
Cerebus earlier in the street.
GRADING NOTES:
Issue is VF/NM; Cerebus Bi-Weekly was printed on newsprint
paper and covers were light - handling and light wear is common. Although the
issue is complete and has eye-appeal, I'm uncertain of how strong a pure/NM 9.4
or higher might be. I am erring on VF leaning to NM.
About the listing:
Issue is VF-NM
The issue is individually bagged and boarded (silver age
size), placed with cardboard backer, and secured in a Gemini comic mailer. This
is then wrapped in a water/tear proof mailing envelope. I use painters tape to
better secure packaging.

About me:
I'm a private collector (not a store); issues are purchased and carefully handled. Upon purchase, I place the issue in a
bag/board, typically have read once, and then store in a short/long box. Over
time I've decided these should be enjoyed by other readers or collectors. I am
not a professional grader, but I have many years' experience in comic grading.
I am confident I've been pretty accurate and the grade is fair.
