Quite an amazing piece of art from an estate.

Titled San Francisco de Asis - Oct 4th feast day. 

Created and signed by Charles M. Carrillo of New Mexico. Dated 1989.

Back is hand signed, dated 1989, and gives information about the making of the piece.

Says "Patron of Peace, Patron of Birds & Animals. Traditional Spanish Colonial New Mexican retablo, homemade gesso, pigments & pinon sap varnish."

There are three white spots we noticed on the front which is wear to the pigment.
