Pair of used but Bilstein front springs for VW Golf MK4. 

Will also fit Skoda Fabia, SEAT Ibiza and Audi A3 of the same era. 

Good used condition, some peeling paint and surface rust but they are good and solid. 

Quick rub down and respray would help if you’re fussy about looks 👍

These are not the usual 45mm slammed, teeth-rattling, Chinese made snappy sump-grinding rubbish.

These are German Bilstein OEM++ quality springs wound from 13mm wire.

These were on my 2002 GTTDi 130bhp but they will fit any of the MK4s. 

So the lowering is around 35mm. 

So if you have standard suspension then they will lower it by 35mm. 

If your car, GTTDi or GTi etc has VW sports suspension as standard then these will lower it by around 5-10mm. 

To be honest, you really don’t want to go any lower than that as the ride quality will be ruined!!

But as well as lowered that are also uprated so they are stiffer. This reduces roll and improves handling. 

If you are fitting them on a car with sports suspension then I’d leave the rears as they are. 

If you are fitting them on a car with standard suspension then I would advise finding and fitting a pair of 30mm lowering springs to the rear as well. Don’t go any lower!!

By all means put cheaper springs on the rear; the rears don't do as much work as the pronts unless you're towing or going on holiday with five people and a boot full of gear.
