Vintage J.D Suspension Slick Rock silver aluminum quill suspension stem.

Features a suspension cartridge between the extension and quill, plus a hinged front clamp for 25.4 mm handlebars. The top of the extension carries SLICK ROCK graphics and the cartridge body is marked J.D Suspension PAT. P.

Quill shaft diameter is shown as 22.23 mm on the digital caliper in the photos, and the handlebar clamp area is stamped 25.4.

The stem weight is shown as 545 g on the digital scale in the photos.

Quill style design is for threaded forks, with a single wedge bolt at the bottom and two bolts at the upper clamp section.

Vintage J.D Suspension Slick Rock quill stem. Aluminum body and quill show scratches, insertion marks, light nicks and some oxidation from use. Decals and logos are present. Hardware, quill wedge and suspension cartridge are included. No cracks or repairs on the body or clamp. Suspension mechanism has not been tested or serviced.
