Designed to tackle any distance with speed and responsiveness, the Prodigio Pro inherits the same underfoot stack height and heel-toe drop as the original Prodigio but utilizes lighter, higher-performance materials. A TPU core is embedded in the supercritical nitrogen-infused EVA midsole to offer increased responsiveness and energy return. With more spring in your step from this new midsole, Sportiva recognized the need for greater security and traction on the trails, which led to several upgrades. First, the midsole foam has been raised around the sides of the foot, forming a cage for additional stability in uneven terrain. Second, the outsole has been redesigned with Sportiva's proprietary Frixion White rubber for maximum grip in any condition. Third, the upper gets a new power wire mesh, saving weight and a secure lockdown from a sock-like midfoot fit.
