Description
A vintage embroidered fire screen / occasional table with oak frame, folding base and decorative floral and butterfly needlework panel. A pretty decorative piece, ideal as a fire screen, occasional table, plant stand, or display piece.

Constructed from oak with a fabric embroidered panel under glass or clear protective covering. The frame has a light golden oak finish with shaped feet and a folding support base. Likely mid 20th century, with a traditional decorative needlework design.

Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.

Condition
In well used vintage condition with age and use related wear throughout.

There are surface scratches, scuffs, knocks, chips and finish wear to the oak frame and feet. Some corners and edges show heavier rubbing and small losses. There are marks, scratches and wear to the back panel and small fixing marks. The fabric panel has some creasing, discolouration and light marks, visible through the front.

The stand folds and the piece remains usable, but it does show clear cosmetic wear.

Would benefit from a good clean and polish, or ideal for refinishing.
