The PC-13 Automatic Pump Controller is designed to automatically control the operation of a water pump by switching it on and off as required.
The controller starts the pump when the water pressure in the system drops below the preset cut-in pressure (adjustable between 1.5 and 3.0 bar) and water flow is detected. This typically occurs when a tap is opened or an irrigation system is activated.
The pump automatically switches off when water flow stops, such as when the tap is closed or the sprinklers are turned off.
The PC-13 also provides dry-running protection, automatically shutting down the pump if no water is detected, helping to prevent damage caused by running without water.
Additionally, the controller helps protect the installation from flooding caused by small leaks. Minor pressure drops alone will not start the pump, as the controller also requires water flow to be detected before activating the pump.
