For sale is an authentic and historically documented Ukrainian commemorative table medal marking the 50th Anniversary
(1951–2001) of the 227th Main Military Representation (227 ГВП).
Historical Origin & Context:
As verified by official legal registries, a "Main Military Representation" (ГВП) serves as the specialized military quality control and state acceptance body embedded at strategic defense and aerospace manufacturing facilities.
Established originally in 1951 and transitioning under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine following the dissolution of the USSR, the 227 ГВП is historically responsible for the technical supervision and military acceptance of rocket, space exploration, and aviation technology manufactured at major industrial plants, most notably the legendary Yuzhmash (Pivdenmash / ЮМЗ) aerospace complex in Dnipro.

Obverse (Front): Depicts a stylized space / ballistic rocket blasting off, flanked by the commemorative years 1951 and 2001. Features a small four-pointed star in the upper left background and detailed exhaust clouds at the base.
Reverse (Back): Features the large numeral 50 centered within a detailed laurel wreath. The top curved border displays the Coat of Arms of Ukraine (Tryzub) and the raised Cyrillic inscription: "227 ГВП".
