- 3.Components: The assembly consists of a cover (housing), a rope with a handle for the user to pull, and an internal spool that the rope winds onto and which connects to the engine's crankshaft, 3 bolts, 3 washers.
- 4. Construction Materials: Key structural parts, like the housing and internal mechanisms, made from metal. Components like the handle, made from plastic.
- 1. Engine Won't Start: The primary function fails, making the lawn mower completely inoperable.
- 2. Safety Hazard: A broken rope or spring can release suddenly, causing the handle to snap back or parts to fly off, potentially injuring the operator.
