I have been unable to locate another example offered for sale or archived online. This is, seemingly, a rare bit of ephemera. No date of publication is shown on the booklet.
From the Simpson Lee Paper Company based, at time of this booklet's printing, in San Francisco, CA. The company later moved its operations to Seattle, WA in 1993.
This booklet showcases the "Mojave Matte" paper produced by the company. There is a paper "latch" located in the back cover. This latch is in very good condition, showing little use over the years.
21 pages, and included with the story are wonderful photographs and finely done illustrations. I was unable to discovery the artists' identities.
Fascinating bit of history and quite an entertaining read.
24 photos is the limit on eBay, so I was forced to delete a couple of the pages which are part of "The Tenderfoot's" story.
I have done my level best to show you the beauty and fine condition of this booklet.
Dimensions: 11" tall x 8" wide, with a thickness of 1/8".
