Up for sale is a vintage portfolio of “Romantic Berlin – Six Watercolors” painted by Heinz Wehlisch.This portfolio folder “Romantic Berlin of Six Watercolor Prints” is a collection six watercolors individually matted reproduced in color by the Berliner Morgenpost and drawn and painted by Heinz Wehlisch. It shows historical and romantic scenes of old Berlin, featuring Marienfelde Manor, Britz Manor, Grunewald Hunting Lodge, Tegel Castle, Steglitz Castle, and Hermsdorf Manor. Inside the cardstock folder printed in German is the narrative that describes the six buildings. The folder is 11 3/4" wide by 9 1/2" tall. The six fold-over the top mats are 11 1/2" wide by 9 1/2" tall. The prints are attached to the backing of the mats just at the top of the print. The prints measure 7 1/2" wide by 5 1/4" tall. The paper used for the print is thin, similar to glossy book paper.
