Vintage Dia-Compe 400 side pull caliper brake set for classic road and racing bikes.

Pair of front and rear alloy calipers with center-bolt, nutted mounting and steel hardware.

Arms are marked DIA-COMPE with model number 400 and casting codes 0385B and 0288 on the inner faces.

Includes installed brake shoes and pad holders plus two barrel adjusters in the small parts bag; cables, housing, and levers are not included.

Used vintage Dia-Compe 400 caliper brake set with cosmetic wear from prior use and age. Silver arms have scratches, nicks, and dulling of the finish. Hardware, springs, and mounting bolts show oxidation and surface rust. Brake pads are used with grime and wear. Both calipers pivot and the quick-release levers move freely. Includes two barrel adjusters; no cables or housing.
