A transistorised portable metal detector manufactured by Cintel (Cinema-Television Ltd), model 1434, dated 1958 by its original manual.
Supplied as a complete kit comprising the oscillator and amplifier units, search head, probe head, lower stem pole, original headphones and cable reel, and both original handbooks (operational handbook and handbook). Includes the original fitted transit carrying case with built-in dividers.
Cintel is documented as a manufacturer of metal locators from the late 1940s. Sold as a vintage collectable, untested and not calibrated.
