This listing is for an original vintage radio receiver Vega RP-240 (ВЕГА РП-240), manufactured in the Soviet Union (USSR) in July 1990. The authenticity and production date are confirmed by the original factory quality stamp inside the battery compartment and the paper label on the styrofoam box. An excellent, clean find for vintage tech collectors, retro-design enthusiasts, 

or historians of Soviet electronics.

Radio Receiver Vega RP-240 – features a bright blue and black plastic body, built-in speaker, side tuning wheel ("НАСТРОЙКА"), rear volume wheel ("ГРОМКОСТЬ"), and a collapsible metal telescopic antenna.


Original Factory Styrofoam Box – includes the original orange paper label attached, showing technical specs, the Soviet price of 62 Rubles, and an "ОТМЕТКА ОТК 26" quality control stamp.

 Top panel: 3 mechanical push-buttons for band selection (УКВ, СВ, ДВ) and a telescopic antenna.

 Front panel: Clear analog frequency tuning dial scale with "АМ / ЧМ" indicators and the tuning wheel.

 Rear panel: Volume adjustment wheel, external 6V power socket, and battery compartment door.

 Battery Compartment: Clean blue plastic interior with a stamped serial/date number "3-111713 1990" 

and a graphic layout showing correct battery polarity.

 Power: The radio powers on normally.

 Signal Reception: Due to the lack of active AM (MW/LW) broadcasting in my specific geographic region, I was unable to tune into a clear radio station on those bands.

 Tested Band: However, I managed to successfully tune into one active radio station on the UHF/FM (УКВ) band.

 

Note: The internal components are operational, but please purchase keeping in mind the availability of analog broadcasting frequencies and standards in your location.

 Radio: Excellent vintage condition. The plastic housing has no visible cracks or deep gouges. All scales, text markings, and yellow lettering are fully legible. The battery compartment is clean and free of battery acid leakage or corrosion.

 Box: The original styrofoam packaging box is structurally sound but shows age-related wear, fading, and some tears/damage along the edges of the orange paper label.
