cover fading; may be small stamp / sticker or writing in pen at front of

Fair - between good and acceptable
Acceptable - book with complete text pages (incl. maps,
plates) but may lack endpapers; may have heavy creasing, marks, bumping
& foxing; edges & corners of covers / pages may be damaged;
covers may feature stickers or sticker remains, etc; binding may be weak
or splitting with 1 or 2 loose pages; book may show some signs of poor
storage, possibly in a damp environment; may be ex-library
Poor -
book that is sufficiently worn that its only merit is the complete
text, which will be legible; multiple pages or page blocks may have come
loose
