This is a frame up special construction Chopper. . The
building time was 14 months. Concept, fabrication, and construction by owner and other trusted fabricators.
There are numerous features of brass, aluminum and steel one-off parts that set
this build apart from the others.
The frame is a Flyrite Choppers with a Springer front end. Gussets
on the frame were welded-in steel perforated sheets. The custom paint is by
Shane Leasure of Leasure Lines. The powder coating is a hammered brass root
beer . Custom Vintage Yankee Skipper old school headlights is rebuilt on a
custom mount. Wheels are a 21 – 3” spool hub forty (40) spoke Avon Speedmaster with
3” brass spacers and Bongos 3”
extensions on the front. The rear is a180mm Avon Venom rear tire with a sprotor
brake/chain drive. Rear brake light is a Shure microphone. Custom coil cage and
engine mount above the motor. A 3-piece twisted rod kickstand is placed below
the 2” drive belt.
The drivetrain is
powered by a 1976 HD Shovelhead motor with polished Throwback Cycle Parts
rocker boxes with brass rocker nuts. Motor mount is brass/chrome bolt and
fabricated mount arms. Custom coil cage and mount. Super G carburetor with a
custom Shure microphone covering the
custom intake mount. The wiring harness has a built-in warning light display
which runs throughout most of the frame and is mounted inside the electrical
box. Adjustable pushrods were installed with one-off pushrod tubes. Brass rocker
box split oil lines installed. Custom
Aztec gold spark plug wires. Fabricated Buick style exhaust pipes wrap both
sides of bike.
1976 HD 4-speed transmission with a Spyke Super
Torque starter and a Spyke push button electric start with extended lever. Pill
style oil tank with built-in oil filter and brass weaved oil lines. Custom
brass oil pump plug and fittings. Brass brake reservoir lid. Polished Nash
Swift Kick (no flopping) kicker.
Foot and shifter
controls are twisted solid brass. The polished front pulley dish, brass cover cap
and front pulley belt guard are custom. Clutch basket pressure plate and
adjusting nut cover accent BDL’s 2” open belt drive primary. One piece twisted
rod shifter arm. Rock guard built and installed.
The transmission mount battery bracket and chain strap
installed. Key ignition is the left side, hi/lo light switch is located on left side of basket. Battery tray is
made for a twelve (12) cell Anti-gravity battery. The rear fender speed holes inserted with stainless steel
mesh. One-off top and middle fender mounts. Twisted fender mounts and
impossible sissy bar built.
Exile Cycles internal
twist clutch and throttle. Old School Finned micro mirror on custom made Lanesplitters
handlebars. Brass dog-bone risers and zero point gap were fabricated. Seat was built
using a four-step process, seat pan, custom leather seat, top hold-down plate
and smooth brass rivets with wingnuts.
Licensed and registered in California as a Special Construction. Prospective buyers
should arranged their funding prior to bidding. An immediate deposit of $500.00
non-refundable is required within 24 hours of bid and full payment completed in
72 hours. Once complete funds have cleared, this chopper will be released for
shipping. Buyers, you must line up your own shipper and I will confirm pickup
date with you.
