Greek Eastern Orthodox Jesus Christ Pantocrator Wooden Religious Icon

• This is a contemporary handmade piece done in a traditional Byzantine art style. 
• Comes with the Certificate of Authenticity affixed to the back with a wax stamp / seal. 
• Medium sized. Arch shaped. Measures roughly 7" tall, 5.2" wide, 1" thickness.
• The canvas of choice is a solid block of old, aged wood. Painted with egg, tempera, and gold leaf.
• The imagery depicts Christ the Teacher with an open book and making a hand gesture of blessing. 
• All of the inscriptions on the front are written in Greek. The book passage cites Matthew 11:28. 
• Beautiful golden background. Accented with blue, red, beige, cream, black, and dark brown. Glossy finish. 
• Has a small loop stapled to the back so that it can be mounted on a wall. Does NOT include any hooks or screws. 
• It touts itself as being "modern art of superior quality". The CofA is printed in English, French, German, & Italian.
