This Royal Doulton figurine, "The Bather", HN 687,  is by Leslie Harradine. It is a stunning piece of art pottery from the Art Deco era. This decorative piece captures the essence of the nude bather and stands at approximately 20 cm. It is a rare and exquisite addition to any collection.

This is an authentic vintage piece from the 1924–1949 production period featuring the Royal Doulton backstamp and handwritten "Potted by Doulton & Co." Displaying the rare Royal Doulton backstamp without the crown indicating it was produced between the original production start date of 1924 up to 1927, after which the backstamp reverted back to including the crown again. Not to be mistaken with the later limited edition reissue.

She is in good condition, but there are some flaws to the base, which appear to be manufacturing flaws rather than chips. There is also a rattle inside the figure and what looks to be two very fine hairline cracks on the right thigh under the glaze, so this could be a second or restoration. Crazing to body. This is still a very stunning and hard to find piece.
