Measures 1 3/4” wide by 2 3/4” tall. This is an eagle top badge with a shield below. The front shows the New Jersey state seal in the center. It reads ‘CORRECTION OFFICER STATE PRISON TRENTON STATE OF NEW JERSEY # 294’. Has a thin vertical pin back with a locking catch. Two-piece die struck stamped vaulted nickel construction with enamel. 

This badge does not resemble any current badge and carries no law enforcement powers.
