Antique Glass Display Cabinet - Mahogany Reproduction Drinks Sideboard Shelves 

Description
A vintage reproduction display cabinet / sideboard with glazed side cupboards, central open display section, single drawer and carved cabriole legs. A decorative and practical piece, ideal for use as a drinks cabinet, dining room sideboard, display cabinet, or hallway storage piece.

Constructed from mixed solid woods with a dark mahogany style finish, decorative fretwork glazing, mirrored backs, brass effect handles and carved detailing. The form is a reproduction in an Edwardian / Queen Anne Revival style, likely mid to late 20th century.

Condition
In well used vintage condition, with age and use throughout.

There are surface scratches, scuffs, knocks, finish wear, marks and some fading. The top has quite a lot of visible scratches, marks, ring marks and areas of polish wear. There is wear around the edges, legs, handles, glazing and carved details.

The interior lining shows wear, marks, discolouration, peeling and ripping to the lining paper inside the cupboards, most noticeably to one side cupboard as shown. The mirrored backs are present, with age-related marks. The central section is open-fronted and usable for display. The drawer has dovetail joints and opens as shown. There is some damage and losses to the feet.

There are holes to the top, suggesting it may originally have had an upper section, raised gallery, or may have formed part of a larger piece. It is now being sold as a standalone sideboard / display cabinet and remains usable as such.

Would benefit from a good clean and polish, or ideal for refinishing (mainly top and interior).
