My bees make a lot of propolis, so my frames are hard to remove, especially in cooler weather.  This hook gets under the adjacent frame better to pry.

Being a little shorter also makes it fit in my tool belt better.  Its very sharp and can be used to separate boxes well tool

I am a beekeeper and use this one on occasion.
