Vintage Sturmey-Archer AW 3 speed internally geared rear hub in silver chromed steel.

36 hole 36h drilling with Sturmey-Archer England logo and AW model stamping on the shell plus oil port cap.

Nutted solid axle hub for rear wheels on city, cruiser, hybrid, and touring bikes; includes sprocket, axle nuts, washers, and indicator chain as shown.

Vintage Sturmey-Archer AW 3 speed rear hub with used finish and cosmetic wear. Shell has scratches, small rust spots, and dulling of the chrome. Flanges show spoke hole wear and oxidation. Cog teeth have wear with discoloration and grime around the driver and seals. Axle hardware and indicator chain are tarnished with rust and dirt. Hub spins by hand but shifting and internal gears are untested; service or overhaul is recommended.
