Vintage Nathan Dining Table - Mid Century Extending Teak Kitchen MCM Wood Retro

A vintage Nathan extending dining table with an oval top, tapered legs and a concealed centre leaf. A stylish and practical table, ideal for a dining room, kitchen diner, or mid-century inspired interior.

Constructed from teak veneer with solid teak or similar hardwood legs and frame. The table has a classic mid-century Nathan Furniture look, with the maker’s label visible underneath. Likely c.1960s-1970s. The centre extension leaf stores within the table and is a noticeably deeper colour, as it has not faded in the same way as the outer top sections.

Condition
In well used vintage condition, showing age and use with surface scratches, scuffs, marks, fading and finish wear.

The main top sections show visible sun fading and colour variation, with the centre extension leaf noticeably darker and less faded. There are scratches, marks, patches of finish wear and some surface imperfections across the top. The edges, legs and frame show general knocks, scuffs and wear from use.

The table remains solid, functional and extends as intended.

Would benefit from a very good clean and is an ideal candidate for refinishing.
