Vintage Pine Pedestal Desk - Traditional Home Office Writing Table - Solid Wood

A vintage pine desk with a practical single pedestal form, turned legs, a single drawer, a cupboard section and a pull-out keyboard or writing slide. A useful piece, ideal as a home office desk, study desk, dressing table, or compact writing table.

Constructed from pine with panelled cupboard door, wooden knobs, turned supports and a warm waxed finish. The desk has a traditional country pine look, likely late 20th century, with plenty of visible knots and grain throughout.

Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.

Condition
In well used vintage condition, showing age and use with surface scratches, scuffs, knocks, dents, marks and finish wear throughout.

The top has visible scratches, ring marks, dents, darker marks, discolouration, pen marks and general surface wear. There are scuffs and knocks to the edges, legs, plinth and lower corners. The drawers, cupboard and pull-out slide are usable, with some general marks and wear internally. The keyboard pull out is working, but slightly stiff when pulling out.

A practical piece with a rustic country pine appearance. Would benefit from a good clean and polish, or ideal for refinishing.
