My son Andrew acquired a 1964 Chevy Impala SS, VIN 41447S106558, intending to restore it. The car is rough, has rust especially in the rocker panels and trunk so he bought parts when and where he could find them, including a largely rust-free chassis and body for a base model Impala (primer grey in the photos), several instrument clusters, extra doors, hood, bumpers, trim items, hubcaps, and some aftermarket parts all of which are stored in his garage. I do not include an inventory of all the parts here for the sake of brevity, but the photos should give an idea. Andrew removed trim and interior parts like seats and door panels from the SS and stored them in his basement as he prepared to start the body work. The automatic transmission and a 350 motor that he had planned to replace with a 327 are also in the garage. The stripped SS is in a shed at my property about a half mile from Andrew’s house. Several years ago, before he got started on the body work he passed away unexpectedly, and I am left to dispose of it all as I prepare to sell his house. There is at least one of everything needed to put this SS back together, and many extra duplicate parts.
