Ping G812 Junior Driver – 15° Loft | 460cc

Selling my son's Ping G812 junior driver as he's now moved on to adult clubs. A driver for a young golfer ready to step up from dedicated kids' clubs. I bought it for my son when he was about age 11. The G812 sits in that sweet spot between children's and adult equipment. It's essentially a full-size 460cc club head on a lighter, more flexible 'whippy' shaft. It's purpose-built for junior size and strength.

Ping no longer produce this model. The modern equivalent is the Prodi G driver, currently around £249 new.

According to a Ping press release, the G812 delivered 3.5 mph faster ball speed, 15 yards more distance, and 50% higher MOI compared to the leading junior driver of the time. Under the hood it shares much of the same technology as the adult Ping G driver: Dragonfly Technology, Vortec Technology, Crown Turbulators, and a precision-machined Ti 6-4 variable thickness face.

Condition: Plays perfectly but has cosmetic wear — black paint has rubbed off the club head (see photos). The club was received in this condition and has not worsened with use. No headcover included.
