Striking and absorbing. Heavy at 4 lbs. 10 oz., 9 3/4” tall and 7 wide at base. Depth is about 2 1/2” at thickest part. My search efforts have not found similar pieces. Due to the streaking of bubbles most apparent in back I think this is obsidian. The very few light surface scratches on base on some occasions reveal black and or colors described in detailed descriptions of obsidian I’ve read. The main reason I still have question is the seam running down both sides much like glass molds leave.
