This wall mount offset back plate hinge is designed for glass door installations where controlled movement and defined wall mounting are required. The hinge is manufactured from brass and finished in brushed bronze, providing a consistent surface appearance for coordinated glass hardware applications. It features an offset back plate design that allows proper alignment between the wall and glass panel while maintaining stable door positioning. The beveled edge profile supports clean glass contact points. The hinge supports glazing thickness from 5/16" to 1/2" and is intended for use with tempered safety glass only. Overall hinge height measures 3-1/2" and the width is 2-3/16", while the offset back plate measures 3-1/2" in height and 1-15/16" in width. When installed using two hinges, the system supports doors up to 28" in width and 80 lbs in weight. When three hinges are used, door width increases to 32" in with a maximum supported weight of 120 lbs. The hinge allows approximately 90 degree inward and 90 degree outward swing and includes a self centering mechanism that engages when the door moves within 15 degree of the closed position. A dual degree pivot pin is included, allowing the closing position to be adjusted 5 degree inward if required. It supports monolithic tempered glass. For safe operation, power tools should not be used during installation. Replacement wall plate screws and cover plate screws are available separately. Factory applied grease supports smooth movement, and occasional squeaking can be addressed with a small amount of household oil applied to the white nylon washer without hinge disassembly. Care: Wipe dry after use. Clean weekly with mild soap and warm water using a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbing tools.
