This is a chunky oxidized sterling signet ring with a recessed winged lion / griffin-style seal design on the face. The design is inspired by ancient Greek and Roman seal rings, with a strong historic look — part signet ring, part ancient coin, part heraldic symbol. The dark oxidation inside the stamped design gives the lion nice contrast and depth.
