Vintage 1970s ivory and white cotton knit maxi dress with a fluid, body-skimming silhouette and dramatic deep scoop neckline at both front and back.
Made from two tonal 100% cotton knit fabrics in ivory and white, used throughout the dress in a subtle panel effect that adds dimension while remaining neutral and easy to style. The fabric has a tighter weave with a more substantial feel, offering structure with only minimal stretch.
The neckline is cut very low, creating an open, effortless look. For styling, the front is currently secured with a small clear tie (included) for added coverage, though it can be worn as designed or adjusted to preference. The fit follows the body without being clingy.
Short sleeves and a full-length skirt with slight variation in hem (approx. 51–54”) enhance the movement and give the piece a relaxed, beachy feel.
As a cotton knit, the fabric can be gently reshaped while damp if desired, allowing for slight adjustment in how the neckline falls.
Originally part of a personal vintage collection and carefully cleaned, this piece was never worn. It was intended as a beach or resort dress and works beautifully styled over a swimsuit, slip, or layered for a modern bohemian look.
Excellent vintage condition.
No flaws noted. Clean and ready to wear.
Includes a small clear tie at the neckline (added for styling/coverage).
