It is new with its original tags. The bag was opened to take photos. It has been stored in a closet for an extended period of time and has a typical storage/musty odor, so it may benefit from freshening up or washing before use. Care tag recommends washing separately on a delicate cycle with cold water and Woolite, avoiding bleach, and removing from the dryer while still warm. For rug use, the tag recommends dry cleaning, though it also notes it may be spot cleaned or machine washed cold on a gentle cycle and laid flat to dry.
