This one offers a Gilbert American Flyer S gauge #650 red plastic New Haven passenger car along with a #651 New Haven/REA baggage car.  The 650 is illuminated and the illumination works.  The 651 is non-illuminated as manufactured.

The 650 has thick shank non-weighted link couplers putting it at 1947 production.  The 651 has both a non-weighted thin shank link and a non-weighted thin shank link coupler.  I don't know if this one is a '46 or a '47, guessing a '46 with a replaced thick shank unweighted link.  Who knows for sure, but both cars are nice and there is some mold release residue in the crevices of the door trim.
