This vintage lot of ten red and black Bakelite buttons are 1 1/2 to 5/8 inches in diameter, two red buttons are rectangle, the one with a metal shank has a defect at one end as shown in photo. Not sure if it’s a chip or occurred when made. Five buttons have metal escutcheons in the middle. The red and black Bakelite buttons would be great in sewing projects, vintage collections or mixed media art or jewelry projects.
