The keyswitches in this batch have all been ultrasonically cleaned. The pins have been removed, then the switches and pins separately cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, with added cleaning solution. Removing the pins allows the cleaning fluid to circulate inside the switch, cleaning it's internal contact as well.

Both parts are then bathed in deionised water, and left to dry naturally before being reassembled and tested. See photos of the process to see the extra work that goes into servicing these.

Some switches have a black rather than cream plastic base, as per the second photo. They are the same size switch and are 100% compatible. I will supply them randomly as I have stock, unless you request one type or another - in which case please message first to check I have that specific type in stock.

I also have keycaps available for these should you be missing them, please send a message and I will add them to the purchase.

NOTE: These keyswitches require soldering to fit. The old switch will need to be desoldered, and the new one fitted.

Due to 2nd class mail becoming more and more unreliable, all items are now being migrated to Tracked 48 postage. T48 and T24 postage on small items are usually free for any additional items of the same type. I am unable to get the system to automate combined postage for different items, however if you make the purchase for multiple different items using the basket method, I will combine them into one parcel where possible, and refund any postage excess at the time of shipping.
